Birds are alive, not ornaments. Kyoto is over 30 degrees Celsius. The birds are probably hot too.
The last photo was taken at another temple that I updated the other day. It is already the season when hydrangeas bloom. The hot days continue, so it's been a tough day for hydrangea.
