About the Kofukuwan that we introduced this time,
The works from KW-1 to KW-7 are authentic tea bowls. Only one size smaller. It has a great appearance.
It’s exactly “Kofukuwan”. The meaning of “Kofuku” is written with the kanji that means to drink a little.
In the past, people with a relaxed heart would take this small chawan with them when they traveled (Tabichawan).
The utensils for making tea were wrapped in stylish cloth and placed together in bamboo baskets.
These are perfect for such specifications.
It’s hard to tell from the photo, but the size of the vessel feels quite different when the diameter changes by about 8mm.
Works from KW-8 onwards are the conventional size. How you use it is up to you.
