The importance of sitting on a rock for three years

Thanks to you, three years have passed.

In the winter of 2020, under extraordinary circumstances, we relocated to Kyoto.
At that time, we were in an extraordinary situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It was all my intuition that made that decision.
Three years have passed since then, and I now feel that my decision was correct.
(The opening date was July 7, 2021.)
“Ishino uenimo sannen” This is a Japanese proverb. (It may have originated in India.)
” (It’s better to) Sit on a stone for three years.”
This means that after a long period of time, such as three years, the stones will warm up.
The situation, which was actually quite cold, has warmed up a little.
We would like to thank everyone who supported us.
This is the meaning of the Japanese national anthem.
“My dear, hope your life will last long for thousands of years.
Until a small stone glows a huge rock.
Until a huge rock slowly becomes covered in green moss.”
I don’t know if our rocks will ever grow big enough to grow moss, but I hope they will.
Thank you very much.
We appreciate it.
Best regards,
Taijiro ITO
