The mountains, the city, and the gallery are all bathed in autumn colors.
Nishi Honganji Temple is located very close to our gallery. It is a large temple that is a World Heritage Site.
The other day, there was a special opening and I had the chance to see the Shoin.
The Shoin is designated as a national treasure.
Each room has a variety of paintings, I am amazed at the high level of aesthetic sense that people had in the past.
I wanted to travel back in time to the time when these paintings were made. I also wanted to bring them to the present day. They would be amazed by smartphones, cars, and airplanes. However, when it comes to paintings and wooden architecture, they would probably think that their skills and sense are superior.

It seems that young people these days, both tilers and carpenters, tend to quit their jobs quickly. It is important for older craftsmen who have mastered high skills to pass on their skills to the next generation of craftsmen. If they were to drop the baton, their technical ability would rapidly decline. This is a very important phase.
