About Kofukuwan,

It is a tea bowl that is one size smaller. Used for those who wish to drink a small amount of matcha at tea ceremonies.
It is also called “Tabi Chawan.” The name comes from the fact that it is small enough to fit inside a basket and take with you on your travels.
Kofukuwan are a very convenient size and can be used for a variety of purposes. I drink coffee from this cup every day.
It is also sometimes used to serve Japanese cuisine. Once you get used to using it, you will grow to love it more and it will become a very useful piece of everyday utensil.
