Determined by light

Compared to a photo I posted a few days ago, this photo was taken about three hours earlier than usual.
The colors on the left side aren’t very well represented, but the scenery below the neck on the right and the three-dimensional form are well depicted. The four flowing sesame seed patterns are emphasized, and the balance between the calculated form and firing is superb. When viewed in a dark space such as a tea room, it will appear even darker.
I wanted to use red camellias in this arrangement, but I couldn’t find any.
The dignified presence and atmosphere—Abe sensei’s work is truly wonderful.
