I truly cannot understand why I have to pay over 670,000 yen in customs duties on the artwork I exported to the United States (I’ve already paid 400,000 yen). I kept sending them with the checkboxes checked so the recipient would pay for them, but it seems they were all invalid. Japan Post’s system is flawed and truly strange.
I’m so angry that I can’t sleep well at night…..
Since it has been ruled unconstitutional, I hope that Japan Post will ultimately sue the US government and get these money back.
What I’m trying to say is that companies of all sizes are suffering, and I think that’s unfair. Not only are there tariff issues, but the Middle East issue is also negatively impacting various companies. Completely innocent companies, unrelated to the issue, are suffering greatly, and in severe cases, they are going bankrupt.
I cannot accept that so many people around the world are suffering such great negative consequences because of the emperor’s new clothes.
