    I am Peter from New Zealand. Three (?) years ago I bought this ochoko from you to add to my collection. Please excuse poor photography. and layout.

    Many time I am in total agreement with the things you say about world politics, soI always enjoy your comments.

    I am fascinated with your photographs of ceramics also, of course.

      I remember you.
      I would prefer for this blog to feature only beautiful photos and music; however, I feel such intense anger regarding the state of the world over the past few years and the appalling nature of politics—both domestic and international—that I find myself compelled to write about these issues.
      Even though the vast majority of people around the world feel the same way, the reality is that the situation is worsening rather than being rectified.
      This is an extraordinary situation!
      As people’s hearts become clouded, pursuing beauty may be becoming increasingly difficult.
      Despite the circumstances, I will strive to offer you moments of small beauty. I look forward to your continued support.

This time it is the work of Kenji Matsushima that has caught my attention. Do you know if he makes choko/guinome? I would like to see more of his work and would be happy to go to Bizen, if that is where he lives. I have been many times.
