Earth is currently experiencing frequent natural disasters, including earthquakes, floods, wildfires, hurricanes, and tornadoes.
And so, many wars and conflicts have broken out, and the cycle of hatred only continues to grow.
Volcanoes, submarine volcanoes, wildfires, and heat from sources such as energy facilities and data centers generate immense heat; this melts Arctic and Antarctic ice and warms seawater, fueling cloud formation that unleashes torrential, extreme rainfall in short periods. Kyoto, too, has been experiencing ongoing thunderstorms over the past few days.
Disasters are occurring almost daily, both in Japan and abroad, and many people sense that something is amiss.
We should put a swift end to conflict and think much more deeply about the future of the Earth.
As a country prone to natural disasters, Japan possesses a high level of know-how and knowledge regarding disaster prevention.
However, it is impossible to contend with massive earthquakes or tsunamis. This gallery is also an old building. We can only pray.
I am 51 years old, but it is difficult to imagine what the Earth will be like 51 years from now.
We humans must live more humbly.
