It is precisely in the tea room…
The mizusashi (fresh-water jar) is crafted so that its form appears at its absolute best when viewed from the eye level of someone sitting in the traditional seiza posture; even in dim light, its colors and gold accents stand out vividly. It is a piece in which every detail has been meticulously calculated. Whether displayed in a Western-style room or actually used in a tea room, it possesses an outstanding presence. It is truly wonderful.

I actually wanted to photograph the mizusashi (water jar) together with the painting, but I wasn’t able to get a good shot.
